Based in the village of Kirby-le-Soken, we are a local gathering of God’s people who come from different backgrounds but are united by our common faith in Jesus Christ. We meet together for worship, teaching and service and we are delighted when people visit us and look forward to welcoming you. We reach out to Kirby-ke-Soken, Kirby Cross, Walton on the Naze, Frinton on Sea, Clacton and beyond.

God’s Word encourages us to meet together for worship, teaching, prayer and fellowship and if you believe the Bible, we would encourage you to attend a church which teaches the Bible.

We are a Baptist church in practice, belief and teaching. We place a high value on teaching the Bible in our services, and seek to apply its teaching to everything we do in the church and in our individual lives.

We are an Evangelical Church affiliated to the Fellowship of Evangelical Churches (FIEC). “Evangelical”  simply means good news or good message and an evangelical Christian is one who believes what the Bible says about the Good News (Gospel) of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Our affiliation with FIEC means that we have links with over 600 churches distributed across the UK.

We are a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), registered charity number 1170625.
